Did you go there? Was it as great as I think? I’ve been kicking myself for missing it this past March! The lineup they had this year looked absolute world-class, and an entire weekend of archtops and jam sessions in wine country sounds like the ultimate player hang.


I actually had a whole itinerary planned out to drive up to Buellton, but a work emergency completely derailed my travel window at the last second. Since I booked everything in a rush, I had a total nightmare trying to sort out my cancellations online and finally had to look up the Travelocity phone number to get a human on the line, but luckily they were able to push through a refund for my hotel package.


Going to plan further ahead next time.

I went in 2024 (the first one ever), and it was OK. Now the concerts at night were great (expect way too many guitar players on stage at once), but the best part was the playing during breaks and lunch (since these were limited to two players).

The learning sessions were not done very well. Great players don't make great teachers, and most were not very organized.
