    Do you like MC Esher..?

for reasons unknown I find his "art" akin to Coltrane's later works/Miles?Mclaughlin fusion-and diminished/augmented harmonic
explorations..through a lens approaching Zen philosophy.

Its a Dylan line--"..if my thought dreams could be seen.."

MC Escher was like a High School crush for me, but I wandered away after my teenage years. But he was great! I just don't really look at it anymore.

But I can tell you, as someone else mentioned here, my music sounds like what my cartoons look like. ha ha

    Round 2 done. So -

It's not quite true that the music fits the cartoons. Only some of it does and they are instrumentals. The tracks with lyrics are too serious for the cartoons. Anyway...

First you need a producer. Which is not to say you don't know what you're doing. The tracks are nicely recorded and cleverly mixed. Your voice is evocative and the lyrics, at least the ones I can make out, are poetical and interesting. Whether they've been scripted beforehand or made up as you go I can't tell. Thing is, I'm no expert on this kind of music. It's somewhat reminiscent of some other stuff I've heard but not so I could put a name to it.

Then there's the question of what you're going to do with it. Artwork you can put in a gallery and have people look at it and perhaps buy it. With this album what can you do? Just keep it as a home-grown interest or put it into the public eye? If you decide to put it out into the world then you'll need specialist advice and direction. I'm sure it exists. I have a friend who does exactly that and he's got quite a following.

I think it needs a better name than 'Future Fantasy'. That's really a bit lame, to be honest! It needs something far more creatively interesting.

You listened twice, and I don't owe you anything, that in itself is successful. Wow! Thank you for that time, man! So the big question is....is it worth producing? I think so. Is it too late? Hmmmm?

Title....you don't dig that....I am hung on it like a fish on a hook. Dangling in stupidity

BTW, I did everything minus the drums. Are the songs good? Does it flow as an album? Is it worth producing? These are the questions to consider. I think they are great, but I am the creator, so I may be warped in perspective. But maybe not!

What do you mean by producing? You can't do it again, that was a one-off. Any attempt to reproduce it would be a disaster. Depending what you mean by producing it's probably well recorded enough to stay as it is.

A title will come to you, no prob there.

Okay, good. You mentioned producing it, so I was asking. Anyway, I owe you a piece of artwork my man! Dm me your address and I will gladly send you something special.

No, I said it needed a producer, someone with a lot of experience to tell you where it needs improving, changing, thinning out, that sort of thing.

The point is you have the creative drive necessary to achieve something public. There's no question of that, the mindset is there, but it sometimes needs some outside influence to bring out the best of it.

Depending on how many art creations you have..you might try getting a show at a gallery..and at the opening you could do a push of your music..
in some kind of media form..downloads/cd/ whatever is possible to package.

Form a band..play bars/clubs--try and show/sell some of your art there.

Just some off the top of my head ideas.

Back when..in Southern CA there were many small music clubs..I formed a trio-two guitars and a female singer
we did all her songs. It was fun..don't know what the music scene is where you are..but put out some feelers and give it a try

John Mayer himself said that without a producer, he would probably be putting out a lot of crap music, because it takes someone who specializes in that specific area to take an artist, and taylor their gift and showcase their best work. So true.

Producers? John Mayer? What in the hell? I thought we were talking about the antithesis of that world.

Wolflen is on the right track.
