This is the most spooked I've ever been at a video without violence or jump scares. I often can't even watch it.
Caving tragedies
Bro why would you want to do that?

Dirk please delete this thread and me.

I've seen that one but the underwater cave diving deaths are even more awful cause the rescuers sometimes die. I only have seen that morbid stuff because Jacob's Well is a cool swimming spot out in Wimberley but has claimed many lives of people trying to scuba explore.

^ Looks nice from the outside.
Yeah that's no good.I've seen that one but the underwater cave diving deaths are even more awful cause the rescuers sometimes die.

The panicked person stirs up all kinds of debris and then they’re just lost
in a grey cloud. Really awful stuff.

I've developed a bit of claustrophobia in recent years and I'm not going to watch that, because I know you're absolutely right.
-
Haha yeah. That's probably the most spooked I've ever been from PG-13 content.
-
Not lost, stuck. This is the short summarizing what happened.

Well, like people who climb cliffs and walls... they know what they're risking... I did quite a bit of mountain hiking myself in my youth... some of it is love of (the beauty of) nature; the excitement of discovery, the adventure of exploration, to go where no one has gone before, to see for the first time what has not yet been seen... (I guess).

Not gonna watch for the same reason I don't watch those silly antics, brainless driving or other animal cruelty videos - not because they give me scares but I don't need additional confirmation of my opinion on humanity.
To stay close to the original topic: this gives me goosebumps though:

We have a cave on the family farm in Lebanon, VA. The local college mapped it out to a bit over a mile from one side to the other, and even gave us the topographical map.
I have only been in it once. There is a spring flowing through it, where my grandfather and others before him got their fresh water. So to get into the cave, you have to wear wading gear, and in some places stoop and crawl around a bit. In one spot there was a cavern about 30 feet high.
I went in it with my brother last year. We went in about a quarter mile, and when we started coming back, I was completely disoriented and had no idea which direction we were headed. He helpfully pointed out that the creek was flowing toward the outlet, but it one strayed away from the creek into one of the side channels, I could easily see getting completely and utterly lost.
My nephew in the large cavern.
On a side note, one of my high school buddies was a caver and diver and participated in a famous (and successful) cave rescue in the Chattanooga area in 1979 when he was 18.

A compass wouldn't work in there?
Horror and dracula movies usually only make me laugh because they're so obviously unreal besides undead, but reverse that knowledge and even still images can freak me out...

Sure, now that he doesn't get to play minister of the justice department (but you're still referring to things the US consider their back/play garden, right?)

That's Halloween sorted already. One of those on the front door will keep the children away.
-
So was everyone too spooked to watch it besides DawgBone who'd already seen it?
-
Very cool.

You're all too spooked to watch the clip.

My apologies to the OP. I allowed myself to be drawn out by a troll. I deleted my messages and blocked him, which is what I should have done in the first place.
-
Lol! It's ok, I don't mind tangents in my threads.
-
I decided some time ago that watching films of this kind does me no good.
