But, that tune is Joao Bosco's. He's 78 years old and that tune has been around for a long time.
Hamilton De Holanda is a brilliant 10 string mandolinist. He's 48 and has been well known for many years. (I had an opportunity to study with him briefly 10 or 12 years ago, iirc.).
The singer is new to me and has earned her way into elite company.
Brazilian Jazz, of which this is an excellent example, has not become well known in the USA, except to Bossa Nova. But it's way broader than that and is not at all the same as American jazz.
