Yea. I've been there. Before college. During college. There is no nobility in poverty. And so many risks of finding a bad end because you lack the resources to be resilient. At least I was able to have faith it would get better. So many are just stuck. Can't see choosing a path where it's a given you'll be poor and it's only going to get worse as tech gets better. That's why I can't recommend music as a career. Especially Gregorian chants, Mongolian throat singing, or jazz.
