I've been trying to incorporate more chords into solos, so why not learn from the best. This whole album is insanely good, Kurt is such a melodic player, and the bass and drums are on fire too.

The cool thing is he's doing a ton with triads with some extensions and just knowing how to superimpose them. There aren't really any crazy spread voicings.

I've got a website where I'm posting transcription PDFs in tab and standard notation for a few dollars. Working on getting everything I've done in the past posted, but this one's available: Sam Lenhardt Music

Good job. This is a great solo for incorporating chords and you make it look easy.

Very nice. The tune is one of my favorites going back to Pat Martino and his East recording. This is bit a of different approach but actually close it many ways with the lines but of course chords. Great sound too.
