It's getting near to Summer, so I thought I'd revisit Gershwin's Summertime.

I'm adding a few Bass Notes to lead into the chords.

Below is my interpretation of the chords, so any suggestions for improvements will be gratefully received.

In my opinion, this arrangement sounds good, due to the bass notes leading into each chord.

INFO: The "A/C#" in bar five above, can also be called a chord "F#m7/C#" chord.

Always like to see the real changes instead of the RB changes that ruin the tune.

I'd like to see the "Actual" real changes to Summertime, my version is only the chords I remembered from memory.

And yes, I do remember checking out the "Real Book" Summertime changes years ago, they don't sound like Summertime to my ears.

The real book cuts the whole step vamp. Maybe it’s still there with substitutions or whatever, I dunno. A- B- works, everything doesn’t need to be m7b5 this and #11 that.
