Hi everyone, I am a relatively new member of this fantastic site. I wanted to share a link to a guitarist in Ohio named Brian Poston who has posted a number of recordings with accompanying transcriptions, all for free.
I for one love the cross over among genres and particularly love the jazzy part of Western swing. Lessons include songs by Hank Garland and Jimmy Bryant. Hope this is helpful to someone.
Thanks for looking.

Thank you much, I love to play Western swing!

Good stuff on that site you posted above. Redd Volkert’s True Fire course Redd Hot Licks has lots of cool moves in this style.

Great site! Checked out the Buddy Emmons version of "Gravy Waltz." I love that tune. First heard by Herb Ellis record. Herb recorded it several times: it appears on "softly...but with that feeling", "Midnight Roll," and "Three Guitars in Bossa Nova Time."

Buddy Emmons met and jammed with Pat Martino, I used to have a photo but Pat was smoking a cig. I dumped it when I learned of Pat’s COPD.
