I blame iReal, which calls it 7#11, but yes I think 7b5 is better terminology. There is definitely not a fifth in this function

Spelling wise it’s possible to see why, as the root Gb and the extension note is a C natural not a B#.

Just to be clear I’m not taking a side haha.
