How do the three triads in example 2 repeat every 4 frets if Cm to Eb is 4 frets and those are different shapes?

The shapes seem to flip on 3rd inversion. At the 12th fret.

I think I figured it out.

Hi Allan, if you build the melodic minor triads in root position they go
    Cm Dm Eb+ F G Ao Bo

The Eb+ has three inversions like the other triads, it's just that these inversions are also the same as root position augmented triads, because of the symmetrical structure of the chord.

    Eb/G = G+
    Eb+/B = B+

    Hope that makes some sense?

How's the handout by the way?

Yeah I got it now, thanks. I love the intro to A Train and I always wondered what made a simple C major vamp so hip.

The handout was put together well.
