Came across this on youtube, I’ve seen a couple of clips before but this is the whole documentary.

Some interesting stuff with John working on new pieces with the composer, plus some complete performances in Ronnie Scott’s club.

I saw that many years ago. He's not always my cup of tea, but man can he play guitar!

The recording of him playing guitar when he was 7 is pretty impressive, can see why he was destined for a musical career!

In the 90's I bought several of JW's albums and since I played the Classical Guitar frequently back then I loved his way of playing, but also Julian Bream. JW & JB were 2 musical opposite poles who could blend together so well with their recordings.
