Thanks for sharing this! One of my favourite and most inspiring composers. First time I heard of him, I was apprenticing for a classical luthier. A customer had an extensive repertoire of Barrios which she played pieces from to run the paces of the guitars in the shop. It was a revelation I'll never forget.

Thanks for the head-up. I checked my provider and it's there on the big screen. I remember the first time I heard "La Catedral" in college, I drove right over to the record store and bought the Williams recording.

La Catedral, and that Williams collection, are both incredible!

That was a fascinating show, thank you for posting this. I have heard of him for years but have listened to few of his compositions, something I should rectify. One of the things that was interesting was that he used steel strings, apparently, on classical guitars.

That was really fascinating. I did not know much about Barrios before watching this. This is so well done and captures the soul and spirit of his music. Thanks for sharing!
