Continuing to chase these less frequently played Jobim classics, here is So Danco Samba, hope you like it!

Hi Jake,
excellent playing as usual!
I had a few specific questions about your right hand technique, which you probably often get asked about.
Not specifically about your So Danco Samba version, but just generally.
Specifically the 2 & 4 back-beat; are you primarily using the front side of your nails for the click, and is the thumb also involved in producing the back-beat click?
Also, what is your solution when you have a melody note or chord landing on the 2 and or 4 and you wish to have both the melody or chord and click sounding together?
I studied with Tuck Andres in the early eighties and he showed me his solution, which contains a very awkward movement that I could never get to feel good, where he makes the click more with the thumb and simultaneously plays the melody with the back side of the nail moving downwards. (If I am remembering it correctly)
You seem to be doing it slightly differently but can't tell exactly from your videos.
If this isn't your top secret weapon and would be willing to share it, maybe you could explain or demonstrate it when you get a chance.
Or is there a video of you explaining this technique on your website? (I couldn't find one)
Anyway, always listening and learning from you, thanks!
