Hi Uffe,
absolutely brilliant playing and unique approach!
I was unaware that you were a member here on the forum.
After seeing you with the Metropole Orchestra I thought that you were probably Dutch.
Now I see that we are (almost) neighbors; as I am in Hamburg.
I don't know how it is possible that I am just discovering you now.
Anyway, greetings from Hamburg

You have a very personal sound on SG.
This is 100% jazz.
Thanks

Your self-comping approach is unique. I like how it creates an illusion of having a second rhythm guitar player accompanying you.
-
Talk about unique playing! You play with the strings upside down..

Thanks for all comments and listenings. I appreciate it much :-)

Congratulations Uffe !
I hear that you have acquired the mastery of the new style of playing you started to exploit a few years ago
cheers

Im glad that you can hear the new things :-)

Hey Uffe, great seeing you here. This take was incredible man! Inspiring and dazzling at the same time.

Curious if you use light gauge strings? Some of your playing techniques remind me of Stanley Jordan.

I commented on a post Uffe made a while back that I hear an advantage in hybrid picking as he does it: the pick is on the melody strings instead of the bottom strings. I struggle a bit with getting the high notes to balance and sound right with the bass being picked.
Picking the high notes makes a lot of sense. And flesh on the bass sounds great.
Twists my brain in knots to watch it though!

Are you left handed? If not, what will you do, buy a left handed guitar and play it upside down?
