Decline in diner gigs due to right’s societies?

Billnc - To me that sounds like a good idea for the musicians and venues; but the pro's might find it as a loss of revenue.

I did mean 10 cents, at 30 songs a night, that's three bucks. Not much of a loss in revenue. Restaurants not paying the BMI or ascap fees and stopping live music has had more of an affect on me than 3 bucks a show. I know it'll never happen anyway so....
But what is happening now is not working either. Plus, our happy little burg is trying to do away with outdoor music on patios, another major source of income for me.
