Pit Band question (Catch Me If You Can)

I have my first technical tomorrow and I have a question on what I should play for one of the songs.

Does anyone with pit experience have time to look over one specific chart and tell me what they would do? Via video call or email.

I’m fairly certain I’m not allowed to post the music, but for those interested. It looks like Folk alternate thumb fingerpicking mixed with single notes. My plan now is to fake the style, basic roots and fifths melody. Essentially ignoring the single line stuff.

Going by the recording, you basically want to follow that pianistic feel set by the piano, including the rhythm and harmony. One specific technique is not required as long as you're supporting the progression of that rhythm and harmony. I'd start with chords, then expand into more specific arrangement content that you can play authoritatively depending on what your parts reads.
