Hi !

No drummer, he was ill.

You can comment whatever you want.
I try to support the guitarist, he thinks he's now unable to play, I think he used to be good, he is a bit desperate because he doesn't play the way he used to do.
I do think that the difference between yesterday and now is that everything can be recorded.
So... It's not the same story : realities vs tales !
We'll play better soon, I hope it !

That sounds pretty good.
The double bass is a very difficult instrument – I know because I learned the double bass in a music school.
To play technically interesting solos, you need to enjoy a lot of time.
To play correct walking lines you need to have knowledge and practice it.
The best school is the transcribe of the masters of the double bass.
You're good at it and it's going to get better because you hear and feel jazz.
The sound of the double bass and articulation are the most important.
I often talked about it with the double bass players - they were always looking for the right double bass.
A comfortable and good-sounding instrument....
