I've played the Buddy Rich (arr. Eric Burger) version of "Love for Sale" with a few big bands. It's pretty straightforward, really smokes. Early on in the chart there is a 32m guitar solo marked with a 2-measure break leading into it. But every performance I've seen uses alto instead of the intended guitar. Every time I've done the solo the band really dug it. Does anyone know of a Buddy recording or vid that has the guitar solo in it? Or anyone else's performance?

Didn't you read the initial post?
It had this "Or anyone else's performance?".
The posted performance appears to follow the sheet music and there is a guitar solo.
