Hi!
What scales are you using when soloing over "Cocaine" by C.C. Cale (popularized by Eric Clapton)? Here are the ones I used in this video.
E minor pentatonic,
E major pentatonic,
E dorian = D major scale,
E mixolydian = A major scale
Cocaine - Get tabs for this and plenty of lessons & ebooks: https://www.patreon.com/landscapeguitar - YouTube

Soloing over is slower than soloing on cocaine.

somebody had to do it.

Luckily I have no idea what you are talking about because English isn't my native language. But I hope it was a good one.

When I saw the subject line, the first thought that crossed my mind was roll up a dollar bill and hand me a guitar.

Thanks for that Mikko. I can't remember the last time I played that tune, but what you were doing sounded cool.
There are generally two kinds of posters in this forum: those who post clips of themselves actually playing something, .....and the other type.

Anyone requesting "Cocaine" from my trio is going to hear something more like "Killer Joe".

Nice lesson for beginners.

Thank you! I assume that this simple vamp might distract beginners. They might wonder is the root E or A or what...
