The neo-soul/funk/R&B band that I've been playing bass in this past year just called this tune...although they want to play it closer to the Scary Pockets cover than to the Grover Washington/Bill Withers original.

I got a massive boost in street cred when I pointed out that we could reharmonize the bridge to "Just The Two Of Us" by using the alternating chromatic Maj9, 7#9 figure from Steely Dan's "Peg". Apparently kids love that shit.
