Yes, good stuff, but too advanced for my mediocre ability, 32bars is how I try to play Cherokee.
I've posted this before:

Cool. I mean that is just the tune, but nothing wrong with that.
Now put some 16th note syncopations in there and play it to the click at medium tempo - say 140 bpm. Just a push here and there.
Then, paste in a backing track at 280 underneath. like this one
Then write out your own chord tone melody and do the same thing.

It's a good technique, not only did I convert "Cherokee" from 64bars to 32bars, in the past I've also converted some 32bar fast tempo songs to 16bars, but mainly songs with two chords per bar. It makes the faster tempo songs more manageable for hobby/amateur players like myself. I'll post my notated song sheets later, if anyone is interested.
