Does anybody else find it strange that Peter Farrell is the supposed appointed disciple of George Benson and the George Benson method, but was not listed as one of the teachers in George Benson’s recent guitar camp?

No, because he is not a star, most people will have never heard of him.

Meanwhile, Cory Wong is there playing his guitar like a drum, not calling anyone names. Modern day Freddie Green.

These artists are also all mainly based in the USA, versus Peter lives in Brazil, which I'm sure makes it much more logistically difficult and expensive for him to come over even if he was there just to hang out with George.
The ironic thing is- although it's a great lineup of ARTISTS...Peter is probably a better TEACHER then any of them IMO, so for people who are there to learn more than to just be entertained...having Peter there would be great (I know Tommy/Cory/Esperanza are good teachers too, don't want to discount that).
But I think the reality is that most people who can afford to go are likely to be higher-income hobbyists more so than working musicians trying to up their game...(not that there's anything wrong with that- I do wish that I could go too!)...and for what they are paying, they absolutely deserve to be entertained.
If any of you got the chance to go, I'd love to hear how it went!
I finally got to see George Benson last year in Highland Park Illinois, and sadly I doubt I'll ever get to see him again. I could only afford to go because it was a drivable weekend trip from Omaha (Chicago, 7 hrs there, 7 hours back) and I had some paid time off available to take that Thursday-Monday off. Well lemme tell ya, 80 year old George came on stage wearing a neon pink sport coat and played a fantastic show at the Highland Park Ravinia. Him playing that GB-10 through dual mic'd and cranked Fender Twin Reverb's sounded awesome. Trademark time-feel, tone and slick vibrato. He plays less notes nowadays but really makes every note count.

Pete was too busy gazing in the mirror and telling himself that he is the only one capable of teaching people how to play like Benson to attend.

What an AMAZING lineup of artists though. A lot of guys in that room I really admire as artists. George must be like E.F. Hutton when he calls, people listen, WOW.

A student of mine, a 23 year old female singer guitarist, attended the clinic. She was so excited by the whole thing. She got to hang backstage with George plus play with a lot of talented players there. She said the crowd skewed younger than a lot of other clinics. It wasn’t just a bunch of retired investment bankers.
From all the performers George was definitely the stand out for her. I think it took a week for her to get her feet to touch the ground after that experience. I was very happy for her. She got photos of herself with many of the players including George, Tommy, Joscho, Scofield and Patti Austin.

Jeez, what an utterly amazing lineup.
