I'm going from a combo amp back to a head (Quilter 101) and cabinet.
What's the reverb pedal of choice these days in the under $150.00 range?
I'm still happy with my cheapo Behringer DR400 reverb/delay but thought I might look into a better reverb pedal.
Any thoughts on the FRV-1?

I use the FRV-1 in the loop on my 65 Amps Tupelo. I have it set very low, just to make up for not having onboard reverb. I've had the pedal about 4 years and like it and haven't found any reason to change.

Frv1 is great if all you need is spring reverb
Which sound(s) are you after?

TC Hall of Fame? If you don't need to quickly switch between types of reverb (like hall to spring), you can get the one-knob HOF mini and download a toneprint of your choice.
BTW, it sounds like you already have the Quilter 101 Mini. The new version of it, which is in the pipeline, has reverb.

I like the hall of fame. The spring isn't the best, but I don't like spring reverb, generally.

I volunteer to be the guy who suggests a pedal double your limit! The Strymon Flint is $300 but it's a double pedal, reverb and tremolo. 3 classic reverbs and three classic trems.

The Strymon Flint was nice (if you like them, which I do) but I found it way more complicated than I liked and ended up returning it fairly quickly.

I've been meaning to try the Earthquaker Dispatch Master. You can combine some delay with your verb in one small footprint, which I really like.

But I must admit, the Dispatch Master and the Flint are on my radar

Plus one for the TC HoF.
I don't have the Hardwire reverb, but I have the Delay and it's a wonderful pedal. If the Reverb is in the same league I'll vote for it, too.

Bit narrow minded here since I only like plate reverb but........ Catalinbread Talisman is fabulous.

Strymon Flint looks interesting, to me.
I'm going to be gigging again with my trusty early-90s Polytone MiniBrute III. No reverb. The amp is built like a tank. It has done about a couple of thousand gigs over the past 20 years and is still rock solid. The Flint might add some real versatility to it--and would be a heck of a lot easier to tote around than my Peavey Valverb rack unit from the early 90s...or my outboard Fender tube reverb unit.

The EHX Holy grail is very nice. Lush and full. The HOF is nice too but the spring reverb is meh. I like the plate reverb. I also like the Boss FRV-1. Even better but more pricey is the Mad Professor silver spring which I prefer over the real spring reverb of my Twin reverb.

I have an orig. 64 Reverb Tank but bought a Catlinbread Talisman which I heard about here. It gives me just what the tank doesn't. that is a plate reverb plus a clean boost. It was just what I was looking for. YMMV
Thanks John

Pricey, perhaps, but love Neunaber.
