You just like nice things and worked hard enough and made great decisions in life to be able to afford those nice things.

While I appreciate the art and craft of these instruments, I would not want the responsibility of caring for one. That would make me nervous. With great effort, the best that would happen is that the guitar would deteriorate slowly. If anything went wrong it could be catastrophic.

Those showpieces belong in a museum, not in my practice room.

Now if I were filthy rich and had no real respect for the instruments, I could see owning a few.
