I have three amps that I use regularly:

    Roland MicroCube
    Tech 21 TM60
    Fender Deluxe

For practice I mostly use the Roland. For shows the Tech 21. For recording (and warm fuzzy feelings) the Fender.

The amp is lighter and it sounds very, very good for jazz, etc.
Speakers are like guitar pickups, some work better in one than another. That Twin came with JBL E 120s and weighed a pound for every watt, 135. I laugh at the light weight amp threads....I converted it 20 years ago after finding I liked 15"s better than 12"s.

My Ampeg Gemini 1 however really sounds great with a JBL E120, the 106 db sensitivity really makes it loud enough for anything and it is flatter than the blue dot Jenson which went into one of those recording only cabs.

I'm now on a Fender Hot Rod Deville 212. Incredible, incredible amp. I find it to be the perfect match for the P90s in my Kingpin.

Martijn van Iterson was right. Now if I can just figure out how to do my hair like him...
