    Otoh maybe another reason why I can't be heard is because I had the mids too low. (Don't know much about amp technology)

    First off, well done for posting your playing, something more people should do when asking for advice.

    Leaving whether this or that guitar etc aside for a moment, first you have to get some movement into your right hand; it's way too rigid to play swing. In fact, you all look like you need to loosen up quite a bit. I used to play this tune with a clarinetist years ago (as I just remembered) and you could probably hear our feet tapping a mile away. It's good time music, not an exercise!

    Just my 5 cents (inflation), just being honest and hopefully constructive. No more time to write because it's getting late.

    Ah okay thanks for the advice! I was taught to strum that way when I was learning classical moving just from the elbow. Maybe incorporate more wrist movement?
