Mesa Blue Angel (in blue-stained quilted-maple, hardwood cab).
Mesa Subway (in walnut hardwood cab).
Carvin Vintage 16
Fender '65 Deluxe Reverb Reissue (mid-90s)
Crate Taxi (portable, compact and has a tweeter, so decent for archtops).
Big Industries Ronnie Montrose (x2) (Tiny, robust, portable, 9V battery-powered, clean and growl; nothing quite like it - from the '90s).
Had a Mesa Mark VI for 30 years and a Mesa Mark V for 13 years. Gave up both 18 months ago as a start on downsizing -- and weight reduction!).

Good morning,
how do you like The Amp100?
I heard good things about it!
best,
Chris

I’m down to three amps today:
Henriksen Blu Six, for occasional jazz gigs with no backline amps, usually outdoor, for which it does surprisingly well. I also use it as a pedal platform and to practice tunes with iReal thru Bluetooth.
Fishman Loudbox Mini, for home playing with pianists for fun. It has two channels, one for piano and one for acoustic guitar, and sometimes with iReal thru Aux.
Fender Vibro Champ, 1960s BF. Well, no reason, but just ‘cause.
I’ve had others, up to eight at one point but sold all the others. These three cover most needs at this point. I play out at jazz jam sessions at five local venues, so for those it’s whatever amps are available when I’m on the stage, including JC120, Polytone Brute, Fender, Peavey, Yamaha combos.

If I had the cash I would still have a TMDR in my collection. IMHO, they're an outstanding amp. Great tone, an attenuator that works, no tubes, 23 lbs., mic simulator that also works. Arguably one of the best and most versatile gigging amps on the market today. But.....I can't wait for my '64 Custom Deluxe Reverb to arrive.

Is 5 the magic number?
Early 70's Pro Reverb,
1981 Pull boost Princeton Reverb,
Selmer Little Giant
(Those last 2 in for repair)
Supro delta king 12" ( moving on)
+ Bro in law's 70's Marshall 50w combo, which is really my wife's.
The Marshall I find a bit insensitive, great if I was in a hard blues rock band but I'm not.
I love my Pro-R. which is mildly modded & used the most, along with the Princeton R.
The Little Giant is /was a bit noisy & died last time out so I'm hoping it will come back quieter & be more useful for small gigs.
The Supro is a useful amp but as it's a similar size to the Princeton, I don't really need it.
Recent gigs have needed a small, very easily portable amp, so I can just carry amp & guitar in & out without back strain.
I tried a couple of Roland / Boss Streets, which were a bit underwhelming, & a Blackstar id Core 10 which wasn't bad, pretty light & compact but I want to try a few more, I'm in no rush to buy.

Just two amps (not including my keyboard gear)
A Peavy Valve King 212 that I absolutely love!
Second one is an old Crate G40CXL.
It has a great chorus and the spring reverb is top notch! (Don’t ask why my font got funky; I don’t know!?
-
Funky Font
I've never seen a Peavey valve king in the flesh (or is it in the wood?) I don't think they're very common in the UK (?)
Having said I was in no rush to buy but I just got a used Fender Passport Mini (which I'd never heard of before). It was cheap enough.
OBV. Not a valve amp... But it is fairly solidly built, 6.5" speaker, 7w, very compact at 9.5" x 9.5" x 7", easy to carry with a decent handle, has multiple voices / pre-sets for electrics & acoustics, plus several effects, everything programmable with the (now obsolete) Fender Fuse software, which can still be found online.
The pre-sets were all over the place, volume & settings wise. But the software is pretty ok to set up & the sounds are half decent with a bunch of amp & cab sims etc.
Not really a guitar amp, more a street performer type thing as it can run off a battery pack & has a separate mic. input section.
I'm hoping it will be convenient, guitar in one hand, amp in the other. Seems easily loud enough for small quiet jazz / semi acoustic gigs or jamming / writing with mates.
So for now I have 6...
-
The valve king is really just a clean channel and a channel with gain. There is a spring reverb. That’s basically it! No bells and whistles. Just a straight forward tube beast!
-
I have two:
- a 1980 Polytone MiniBrute III
- a 2005 Acoustic Image Focus 1 Series II head into a Flite Sound 1x12" cabinet loaded with an ancient Altec-Lansing 601 driver that was reconed in 1981 as a fullrange driver (i.e., the "Duplex" coaxial tweeter was removed)
Edit: well, technically I have a third amp, a Monoprice Stage Right tube combo...but it is such a piece of crap that I left it at my friend's recording studio 1,500 miles away and 5 years ago, and for all I know he's already binned it.
