How Many Guitar Amps Do You Own?

I am now down to three amps and one cabinet. Being that I am only doing 20-30 gigs a year these days. it seems like I have all that I need.

I have:

Henriksen Bud 6
Quilter Mach 3 Combo
Quilter Superblock US
Raezer's Edge Stealth 12ER

If I am being honest to myself, my Blu 6 and my vintage Framus tube amp are probably all I really need, but it’s kind of fun to fiddle around with the others (well, for now anyway).

Those old tube amps are hard to beat. The Lafayette and Dynatone are classics along with your Fender tube amps. I still love my blackface Princeton Reverb, it sounds great with any guitar plugged straight in. Thanks for sharing.

At the moment I have 5 amps:

'91 Boogie Mark IVa combo with 1x12 Thiele cabinet (EVM12L)
'80 Acoustic G100T-112
'67 drip edge Fender Bassman (original AB165 BF circuit) w/ 2x12 cabinet (Celestion Vintage 30)
'24 Fender ToneMaster Twin Reverb
Hartke Hydrive 210 bass amp

And an Amplified Nation Overdrive Reverb 100Watt & 2x12 cabinet (in blue suede!)

I'm down to three amps these days: a Fender Princeton Reverb, a Boss Katana 100, and a Roland JC-40. They all do something different, so I can't really justify getting rid of any of them. I used to buy and sell gear way more often, but now I just wait for a really good deal. I even keep a little stash of rescue bucks set aside for those random gear finds that are too good to pass up.

I was really looking for a Wonderland Overdrive but this hit my radar and at a great price so I grabbed it. The blue suede is very eye catching

A year ago, I posted here that I had 5 amps. I’ve since sold one.



My main amp playing out (when no backline) or for home practice is the Henriksen Blu Six. For travel a tiny rechargeable Lekato that plugs right into the guitar. Those are newish; I also have two tube amps from the ‘60s, Vibro Champ and Silvertone “amp-in-case” that are just for the fun of it. From the previous post, I sold the Fishman.
