I'm not sure what the boundaries of that category are ... but the MP does remind me of the Gretsch trestle bracing. Similar effect. More wood involved. If you look in the body cavity, it looks a bit like the old roman arch bridges. Multiple touch points on the top, more solid along the back. If you consider the part that touches the top the "trestle", there are more of them in the MP, but each one is much slighter than the one shown in the Gretsch pic on this thread.

I couldn't find a pic to post ... so hope I'm remembering the Godin bracing correctly. In terms of tone, effectiveness and weight, the Godin succeeds very well. I prefer it to any trestle braced Gretsch I've tried.
