    As of 9th Jan $73USD.

If you put the Harley Benton up against a second hand Peavey Bandit the Bandit would win by a TKO in the first round mate.

If you're stateside check out the Peavey Windsor. A valve amp you can mix up the output tubes. It was on my list to try and buy but they were hard to come by here in the UK.

Here's a thought, how about a s/h Ampeg GVT15 or the GVT5. They were heavily discounted at the end of their production run.

I settled for the 15 watt version, a nice little practice amp that can go down to 7 watts (the 5 watt version goes down to 2.5!). It does clean in a F***er Blackface sort of way and the reverb is fussy but I love it!

    Jazzbow,

There is a guy selling a Bandit 112 for $40 (link above) .....red stripe model, early 2000 model methinks. At least 65 watts, maybe more. If I could manage to drive the 45 miles in the stormy weather in LA this weekend, I would scoop it up in a flash. Or, if it were down street even better. Rain or no rain.

Windsor, huh? That will certainly go on my search list. Love this forum....

These old Peaveys.... The one pictured sells for $50-$150 when I see them. US made, great sound, great quality. No idea why they stay cheap.

I just found one locally for $75. Damn.

I know I sound like a broken record about scooping up these vintage amps for jazz, but you still use one and I'm sure it sounds great.

I'm, going ask if the guy knows the year.
