Time for fret dressing?

I use stands but am super careful doing so and like Deacon Mark don't typically use them on gigs unless there's a lot of room at the back of a bandstand, which isn't usually the case. That said I've seen more than one guitar knocked off of them for any number of reasons, loaded patrons on gigs, clumsy band mates, people tripping over plugged in cables etc.

I take my gigbag onto the stage with me and toss it under the piano, behind the amp, or off stage if the venue has space. The guitar is in the bag if it's not in my hands.

I dunno. The heel finish hasn’t started to crack, so maybe I can get another year or two out of it. If a 150th anniversary zephyr pops up locally I’ll check that out. Otherwise I’ll get the frets fixed and play the Broadway till it falls apart at a gig.
