    Thank for deciphering. Gibson Custom just explained the same to me late yesterday. Makes sense now. Will take another look for the brown label.

    Great score, by the way. It is a beautiful Super 400CES despite the little niggling fault of no consequence. I guess it was owned previously by a collector.
