This is a beautiful Comins Classic from 2002. The guitar is very light and possesses a beautiful warm resonant tone with great volume. The nut width is 1.810 and neck is straight. The guitar plays effortlessly and currently set up with low action. The 1st fret fingerboard thickness( to the board) is .815 and .922 at the 10th fret.
The body width is 17” with a depth of 3-3/16.
Scale length is 25”.
As for the condition, there are two marks on the top (shown in pic ) - and a hairline fracture ( shown in pic) which was re- glued by John Monteleone a few years ago and very stable. Besides these two issues-the remaining body surface front and back exhibit a near mint condition , and it’s a stunningly beautiful instrument.
Asking price is $4800 plus shipping.
International customers welcome - but payment must be via wire transfer and buyer must provide shipping barcode label.
For domestic USA, check, or wire only.
I can provide a short video via WhatsApp, or via text message.

I am going to say QAman has 2 great guitars for sale. They rival the best deals you can find anywhere and no worry at all. The Benedetto really caught my attention too and I am not one to have ever said I wanted a Benedetto guitar. If you are looking for a wonderful sounding and playing acoustic archtop that you can plug in when you need to amply one of these guitars will work. Like Vinny said there is no risk on this sale except if you act too slow then they will be sold.

$4800!! Where do you find an all handcarved solid wood made by single well-respected luthier with serious jazz chops for $4800 these days? If I don't already have a Bill Comins Concert I would be all over this. I paid $5000 used for mine and that was in 2012. Mine has much less binding and is less fancy. This is an upgrade on the Concert.

Sale pending - thanks for the interest everyone.
Next up in the retirement sale will be a mint condition Hutch period Tal Farlow , and possibly a rare 35’ D’Angelico snakehead. I promised a good friend the first right of refusal on the DA. Stay tuned.

When I retired from public performance, I decided to trim my gear collection down and sold two of my four amps and five of my twenty three guitars. I did not part with any of my bespoke luthier built guitars, nor any of my Gibson archtops as I know replacing them would be difficult and expensive should I have regrets.

The opportunity to own well curated archtops like his, may not present itself again. QAman's name is in Jimmy D'Aquisto's customer log. He has been a well respected collector for many years. Owning one of his guitars is in and of itself a bit of special provenance.
Note to QAman: You should rethink selling the DA. Like your D'Aquisto, this is the stuff regrets are made of. Let your wife sell that one when you are gone.
