Equally exciting is the nearly 40 year friendship with John Monteleone, whose log book contains my name in a few different places. Ive actually played a good percent of John builds.
Most importantly is the friendships I’ve made along the way. I’ve been on this forum since 2013 and it’s been enlightening. All the guitar shows, auctions and many years of frequenting builder’s shops, have provided a life time of knowledge and exposure to some real fine instruments.
I now find myself in the same position of our esteemed member Danny W , who made some prudent decisions to reduce his collection.
If it were up to me , I’d be selling quite a few more, but my lovely wife does not want me selling too many. She has been part of my collecting, and had encouraged each acquisition. She has heard the best of them all, and her favorites are the Trenier’s. They remind her of the D’Aquisto modern series, which she loved more so than the earlier D’Aquisto or D’Angelico’s.
As for the 35’ DA - I made one phone call and it’s likely sold. If not , it will be posted here . It’s in that 18-20k range.

Hello Everyone! I purchased and received QAman's Comins Classic yesterday. The guitar was packed like a tank and the guitar arrived exactly as described! I couldn't even find the minor issues that QAman mentioned. The guitar also sounds extremely amazing.
It seems like most if not all on this forum, at least this thread, knows QAman. For those who don't, please do not hesitate from purchasing from him. QAman is just a genuinely standup guy who knows a lot about archtop guitars.
QAman - Thanks again for the successful transaction. I'll have no problem in purchasing from you again.

I want to add an Amen to the above. QAman could teach a master class on communication, regard + respect, selling, packing and playing the quality instruments we want to adopt and he has fostered.
