Hi has anyone here ever played a Brad Goodman Archtop? If so what did you think?

A friend of mine has had one for years (a 7 string) and it's been his main 7 for many many years. He absolutely loves that guitar.

there had been one on my local CL for a very long time for around $3500 iirc
it's gone now though..

I've never played a Goodman but I know that Professor Bop had previously listed his 2014 Goodman for sale on this Forum and as of a couple of months ago I believe it was still available so you might want to reach out to him. Here's the listing:

I've played several. They're really nice. He has a new 16" on Reverb right now at a remarkable price. It's a carved 16 with a Koa back and looks like mahogany neck. Beautiful guitar and a screaming deal. A friend of mine just acquired a beautiful 18" that I played last week and I was very impressed with it even though 18" are a little big for me it was not uncomfortable to play and had serious balance and tone. He sent me these pics.

The one on reverb is screamin deal! I actually have it in my cart but am pretty sure Im not going to be able to close as I need to make room. I really wish someone would grab it so I can stop thinking about it. The one prof bop has (had?) listed here is also a screamin deal (I was obsessing about that first).

Yes, the one Professor Bop listed on the Forum earlier this year is a great deal. I've seen the guitar in person and it is a gorgeous instrument. I was tempted for a split second to take it home but, truth be told, I'm not that good a player and a guitar like that should be in the hands of someone who knows what to do with it. Last I heard from him it was still available but that was a few months ago.

I’ve been talking to him because I was so taken by what I have now learned about him and looking at this guitar. The Trenier I recently bought is quite similar, so it just makes no sense for me to get this one but I’m actually talking to him about consigning a future guitar. He’s a really good guy.
