Inspired by Rob's post. I had some string changing to do so I snapped some shots of my harem. I have to report that I am very, very content with these four and never have GAS. Never? Well, hardly ever. I will someday add another Tele or solidbody to the team, I gave my last Tele to a dear friend that fell on challenging times after his wife passed.
1990 Benedetto Cremona. It's a working guitar, we just played last Friday and booked this Friday. I've not found a better string match for her than TI JS12's. The mate that fate has created me for!
1953 Epiphone Triumph Regent. We play a small, intimate cocktail lounge twice a month, and this pal needs no pickup for that gig. Martin 80/20's work super on this, however just about 80/20's will do. My Old Flame.
05 Eastman Pisano 880. Come rain or Come Shine, this is wonderful backup for the Cremona. If the weather is iffy, I'll give the blond girl a pass and grab the 880. Also, the P can give a bit more volume if I need it before feedback. Pyramid Gold 11's and you can Fly to the Moon.
1998 Dupont MC-30-14. She came from a celebrity gypsy player. Not as much gigging for her since my violin partner moved away, however she is my travel and campfire companion. Argentine 11's the ticket for La Vie en Rose.
Adore them all and use them all!

Nice collection. How is the acoustic voice on the 880? I've never come across one to try but i love the acoustic sound of my ar910.I just had the chance to try a Pisano 480 and it was really excellent plugged in but being a laminate not inspiring acoustically.

The 880 has a sweet acoustic voice, I strung it with 80/20 bronze just to experiment one time. It's no powerhouse. I've plugged it in since I bought it new and think of it as a electric guitar. I tried several different Flatwounds brands over the years, Chromes work well. But I really prefer the Pyramid Gold Flatwound 11's on it. Good plugged in but not much acoustically.

Great collection, Sierra. I must admit to not having heard of the Gold flatwounds. I might give them a try.

Thanks, I am a very fortunate guy. I spoke to a Eastman rep around the time I bought the Pisano (2006ish) at NAMM. He said DAddario was pretty much the default string at the factory, most guitars were shipped with them. I used 12 Chromes on it which is what it came with for a long time, then got bored and tried both rounds and flats (I prefer flats) from just about every brand. I like the Pyramids, they have a certain rough feel I can't explain, not as refined or smooth as the TI's or Chromes. Tone wise, well they are flats. Some folks hate em'. I tried them on the Benedetto and didn't care for them as much as the TI's on that guitar, go figure. I'd certainly advise giving them a go.

Sorry for hijacking this thread, here are my four babies. Too many too good guitars for my level of ability, but you know what they say about the midlife crisis haha... I should self at least 2 of them, but it is difficult to choose, they are all so great...
