Hi
I bought a used Epiphone Zephyr Blues Deluxe with three Dogear P90. Year 2002.
It’s ok, but I think it needs a little more brightness and warmth if possible.
I could change only the neck pickup, or maybe two or all three.
Can any of you recommend some better pickups? ?

Pete Biltoft of Vintage Vibe made me a p-90 dogear for my 55 ES-175 and it was really good and not extremely expensive. One advantage is that you can communicate directly with the guy who is winding your pickups and he will be able to suggest the best pickup for you.
Lindy Fralin also makes a great P-90.

SD Antiquity is also pretty good;
not expensive, readily available, quiet, and well-balanced with no quacky peaks the sometimes-not-perfect vintage Gibson ones may have.

It's hard to say what's best. Fralin's is certainly up there.

from my experience owning older Gibson arch topswith older P 90s on them I believe that those are really great sounding.
in the late 60s Gibson changed the P 90s and they are harsher more shrill I don’t believe suited for jazz playing.
I have a Unity custom three pick up with Lindy Fralin , low wind pick ups and those things are sweet very much like my vintage Gibsons on my 1939 L5 P (factory installed in ‘48) as f on 1953 and 57 ES 175s

Thank you so much for your input!
Have any of you tried Fralins Noiseless?

Fletcher pickups in the UK will build what you want. I chose 7.2k, A3, unpotted.

I'll second the Pete Biltoft P-90's. I found a set of HB sized P-90's from Biltoft used some years ago in my local guitar shop to put in a guitar that had come factory equipped with extremely hot metal pickups (Hamer Vector V). After the pickup change it had a great sound that was quite worthy of blues or jazz gigs. Fat, clear, detailed and never harsh. I shouldn't have let the guitar go but I've had a love-hate relationship with V's, as they are probably the best sounding Gibson style solidbody and closest solidbody I've heard that approximates a jazz sound. They just aren't very fun to play sitting down so 3 of them have come and gone through my hands.

No affiliation, just impressed with his products and whole business model all around. Fair pricing as well. I highly recommend.

I have a Lollar 50s spec dog ear in my Eastman SB55/V (Les Paul Jr. copy) and really like it. Super versatile and its tonal characteristics appear to be exactly what you are looking for.
