I spent quite a few summers a little west of there in Webster, WI, as a doc at a summer camp. Beautiful part of the country, and literally a lake at the end of every road.

That's interesting because this is the first year that resort has had WiFi. And yes it's ** STARLINK ** not sure which version, but it's as good or close to my cable service at home.

Bottom line, for me anyway, it's the only place I can visit that's still basically the same as it was sixty years ago. No school, church, etc etc has remained 'un-bothered' like this resort, Wis. DNR notwithstanding.
They do indeed write books about places like this, perhaps just too few.
