    Well, it's neck over the top of course, but the idea is in a "neck through" guitar there's a solid piece of wood running from one end of the strings to the other. In a solidbody (or semi), it runs inside or through the body, but here it's running on top of the soundbox instead of through it. One piece from nut to tail.

    Crazy is the word. Usually I like crazy... I don't get the point here either.

    I have a number of guitars with zero fretz and I like them because basically I am a chord guy , a guy that plays a lot of chords and sings with my guitars
    I have a 1958 Gretch double anniversary where the zero frat
    I have two heritage Johnny Smith’s with zero French
    And lastly I have a couple of older Ibanez GB 10s with zero frets

    I love them all having a zero fret really suits me because I play a lot of open cords

    That's exactly how I'd describe myself as well. In 50+ years of playing I'm back to where I started, albeit with more interesting melodies & harmony. And I'm enjoying it more than ever.
