    Having sold my blonde GCS-16-1 in early January and cycled through a couple more mid priced archtops, I realised the error of my ways.

    I'm not hugely experienced with either jazz or archtops but have now owned mid priced offerings from Comins, Ibanez, Peerless, Eastman and D’angelico.

    This Comins model is the best of the bunch IMO. It’s set apart by an incredibly comfortable neck. Neither too slim nor too chunky and nicely rounded edges. The Kent Armstrong pickups these ship with are fantastic.
