The iPhone 13 Pro Max has some kind of processing magic that cuts down glare. First picture that actually catches the medullary rays, aka flames. Taylor GT K21e

That is beautiful. I love guitars shot in nature.
-
It also catches the smudges that are a part of life with a high gloss finish.
-
the only thing that might have been better is if you could somehow eliminate the stand

Of course a dedicated, high quality camera is better, but the latest phones are pretty remarkable.

In this case the Deluxe rules over them all, including the Emperor.

Such rich colors, no glare, great resolution (for example look at the definition of the high E string). I don't think it gets better than that.

Looks like Arizona? Great lighting!

But all I do with my 13 ProMax large is surf this and several forums. Could I have used a much less expensive phone for that? Absolutely, but I had to have the latest and greatest after coming from an iPhone 7. So I waited, what, 9 years before upgrading? Great patience on my part. And I know it’s the last phone I’ll ever own, so there’s that.

Suits me, I'm a dinosaur myself.

It just occurs to me that this must be the exact reason why so many youngsters are annoying the crap out of everyone else, walking around with their idea of music blaring from their tinny phone speakers...

Not tinny sound from the ProMax. In fact, it’s the best sound yet from an iPhone. So much so it even does low end frequencies well. You know you want one!
