In 2017 I bought a Gibson 59 RI ES-175 (A great guitar) and it came with the stupidly heavy reissue case (These were made somewhere in Central America, I believe). 5 years later I have noticed some green ink bleeding through the tolex. (This guitar case has never left my house since buying it, I use a gig bag) Has anyone else had this issue?
Here is a picture of what I am talking about:

It almost looks like writing on the wood that reacted w the glue, maybe magic marker?
To answer your question, never seen it before

The scribbling looks like they tested the marker before writing.
I've seen writing on case wood before, had an orig NYer case w writing under the lining stating the model but never saw writing bleed.
Is it one of those goofy Gibson USA cases?

You are entitled to a free brand new case from Gibson

Do you have kids? Lol

Hmmm, strange writing appearing on an object where it had never been before ... watch out for nazgul and orcs.

Since it just appeared, I feel certain that it is ink from the wood that came through. Probably only happened on 2017 models and even then, perhaps just a few. I sure dont feel lucky....

things like that don't appear overnight, you probably didn't notice it because of the location

I've got a few issues with the guitar itself, so maybe you ARE lucky
