As far as the seller, there is no way he's doing business right.
I see some people kind of half excusing him.
If the truss rod is maxed out, that's it. Nothing else to say. A new guitar should be shipped with the rod in a neutral position with the action reasonable. That's not a high bar. Especially at this price!
If this was a vintage instrument, ok, maybe it's worth the trouble. But not new. The seller should take it back, pay for shipping and deal with Ibanez over it
This is why we have dealers, obstensably.
I'm looking forward to knowing who this dealer is, so I know never to patronize him.
