Yes, I like it more than the Charlie Christian pickup from this video. I‘ve talked to a superb pickup maker I know, maybe he can build something similar. Anyone here with some specs?

I don't have specs but the tapping feature is a huge part of it. It kicks in about an additional 15% of windings.

I have a partscaster tele with Don's Joel Foy pickups installed. Excellent sounds, the best I've had for sure. Excepting one other partscaster (stolen) which had Don's Nancy set. With both, it's the neck p/u that gets used most. Just my taste. The Joel Foy bridge impresses too, but I gravitate towards the warmth and clarity of the neck p/u.
