I tell them to call back with a number. They never do.

Yup. Many people picked up an instrument during lockdown but will get rid of it once they get back To their normal life.

So I saw a newer used 2020 Gibson ES-345TDC on TGP forum for $2750. Although it isn't cheap it's a good deal for a great guitar that Gibson is making correctly again.
I have a similar Sunburst ES-345TD and it's as good as any CS or vintage I've ever owned or played. Light in weight and great pickups as well!

I have an ES-345TDCSTV from the mid '60s. My #1 for many tears, it holds a special place in my heart. The first good electric I ever played was a friend's 345, which was new in '68 or '69. I guess I was kind of imprinted. A jazz friend of mine ended up with it (small world). it's a great design, and I'm a little surprised they aren't in more general use. I'd have probably tried to coax my friend into selling it to me, if it hadn't had a Bigsby!
