I am offered to buy this guitar. To know what would be a good price for it, I would like to know to which exact type it is.
I think the guitar has been bought in the early 2000's
Does anyone know by sight which model type/number this Ibanez guitar could be?

It looks like an AF 125 to me.

John. A has it. Here’s the Ibanez Wiki list of hollow bodies, you can click on the AF125 and see it definitely looks like a 125.

It was a lot of guitar for the price when new. I've had two AF 105s - same guitar, less fancy woods and appointments - and someone always insisted on buying them. The PUs are Super 58s, the subject of an eternal debate, but irrespective of year and country of origin, they are excellent. A very solid guitar.

I have the AF105NT that preceded the AF125, and it’s a really nice guitar. The AF125 is listed as having Super 58 pickups instead of the AF105 Custom 58’s, which I believe just means a different type Alnico used in the magnet. But sometimes Ibanez marketed the Custom pickups as Super, so who knows.
I’ve seen an AF125 in person and it’s really striking—a pretty color and nice grain. That photo doesn’t do it justice.Last edited by KirkP; 10-15-2020 at 02:58 AM.
