A good 175 is all a jazz guitarist needs. Or a piano player...
Congrats!

I know huh! Actually I wanted to acquire another Gibson before prices went through the roof. Thanks Vinny!

Anyway, Happy NGD and I hope your 175 is ridiculously amazing!

Thanks JD! 2b's wheelin' and dealin' days are a thing of the past.

Lovely 175! A mid-2000s ES-175 I used to have was the most flawlessly built Gibson I ever owned. And it sounded fantastic. I was a fool to let it go. Enjoy yours!

Congrats to the op on that beautiful find.
Seeing the metal bridge has me again playing with the idea of getting one for my 59VOS 175 I got from CME. My first one from them was the standard, figured model with the metal bridge. It had issues, I returned it, but I may like that metal bridge vibe more.
I have some Gibsons from the mid 2000's and all are winners. There is a guy on the Hamer forum who worked at Gibson for quite a while, he has said they had some good wood around that period. FWIW of course.
Enjoy.

Thank you brother.
