EH Synth pedals? Do any of them do polyphonic metheny (GR300) sounds?

Jack that's some really interesting playing. Love to understand more what's happening harmonically there.

I hope this won't sound offensive to you and it's not intended to be, the sound of that pedal is not good at all to my ears. I like those sounds Pat gets in small doses. Maybe it's the older antiquated tech. It's not like I just have an aversion to that type of tone. The older gear may not track as well but it has a certain character that I don't hear in that pedal. It would be interesting to hear you play that pedal back to back with something more similar to what pat uses to hear the differences

I think the older tech was analog whereas this is digital. I actually like the tone. I'd like to get more of the metheny vibe to the tone but for me it's fine and it really lets me concentrate on expressive qualities in the harmonic language I'm going for and less on the limitations of the instrument so it's a tradeoff but considering that I have done virtually no programming on it and have only had it for a few days, i'm ecstatic about it.
