I honestly didn't. But I used the word "obscured" which I can see would sound huffy. I'm an academic, and imprecise wording to me "obscures" but it doesn't mean I'm attacking. But I can see how it would sound. I just felt like the OP comments sort of lopped some things together, and I had some research I thought would be clarifying. No harm meant.

In my opinion the Wesmo is far more responsive than CES model, also is brighter (it can be easily ivercomed by rolling down the treble) and it feedbacks more (but since you have more dynamics so it not too much more. It can easily scream if you want it. Anyway, the difference are mainley felt and heard by the player. Side by side in a recording is difficult to know which is which. But, believe me, playing it difference is a lot.
    Sadly I didnt play Campellone.
Bottom line, if you want dynamics go for the Wesmo. If you want a softer and easy to handle guitar go for less resonant two pickups.

I've owned 2 of each L-5wes and L-CES. I kept the CES. I agree with 2born. For me the Wes Mo was not quite enough acoustic not quite enough electric if that makes sense. I do however have a couple of other Acoustic models that just do the acoustic responsive thing much better. The CES fills my set pickup thick sound. It all depends on just what your looking for. Both great guitars...
