    Well, when I was discharged in the 70's you could still buy a home in Cal. But I left a year later because I'd grown up there, and decided to make a fresh start elsewhere. I've never regretted moving to the PNW.

    We all have our different urges. After a life spent travelling, home sounded muy bueno to me ... but I sure understand wanting to get away, too.
